Kristaltærar Minningar ehf. (Arctic Crystal Memories) is an Iceland-based company creating personalized and premade optical-crystal keepsakes. Our work is for the people, places, pets, celebrations, and memorials customers want to keep close—not for a generic souvenir shelf.
A crystal can hold a family portrait, wedding moment, beloved animal, Icelandic landscape, award, or thoughtful gift. We begin with the emotional reason for the piece and help choose a product and layout that support it.
K9 optical crystal is a high-clarity manufactured optical glass, not a natural gemstone. Its clarity and consistency make it suitable for precise subsurface laser engraving, where many tiny points form an image inside the crystal instead of printing on its surface.
We describe the material honestly because the quality comes from its optical clarity, the prepared artwork, the engraving process, and careful finishing—not from claiming it is a mined stone.
Your original uploaded photograph is preserved. We prepare a separate working copy, review image quality and composition, and may enhance, upscale, or remove a background where the selected design calls for it. Configure Your Crystal lets you preview placement and text before the order is produced.
The prepared design is converted for subsurface laser engraving and reviewed again before production. The on-screen preview is a useful design guide; modest technical adjustments may still be needed for a clean finished engraving.
Personalized products deserve a human process. We aim to give clear photo guidance, careful handling, premium presentation, transparent order updates, and approachable support when a customer is uncertain about an image or product.

The physical Icelandic operation is the centre of our quality control, product handling, and customer service. We can ship from Iceland to supported destinations shown at checkout; available services, prices, and delivery estimates depend on the live carrier quote for the order.
We do not promise a worldwide delivery time that the carrier and checkout cannot support. Customers should rely on the options and estimate shown for their destination when ordering.
Kristaltærar Minningar ehf. (Arctic Crystal Memories) is legally trading online and can accept advance purchases while equipment and incoming stock are in transit and the store is prepared. The store opens on 1 November 2026.
