Right of withdrawal

Statutory instructions on the 14-day right of withdrawal and the model withdrawal form.

The right does not apply to personalised crystals or other goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, under point (c) of Article 18 of Act No. 16/2016. It applies to all other goods, such as non-personalised light bases, gift boxes and accessories bought without engraving or other personalisation.

Instructions on the right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

Where an order contains both a personalised crystal and a separable standard item, the right applies only to the standard item.

The withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods. Where goods are delivered separately, the period runs from delivery of the last item.

To exercise the right you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement — by email to [email protected], by telephone on +354 761 7603, or by letter to Kristaltærar Minningar ehf. (Arctic Crystal Memories), Faxafen 10, 2nd floor, 108 Reykjavík, Iceland. You may use the model form below, but it is not obligatory. It is sufficient that you send your communication before the period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery — with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a delivery type other than the least expensive type of standard delivery we offer — without undue delay and not later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used, and it will not incur any fees for you. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.

You shall send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
